OncoTICE is a freeze-dried preparation containing attenuated Mycobacterium bovis bacteria, prepared from a culture of the TICE strain of Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG). During the last decades, OncoTICE has played an important role in the development of an adequate treatment for superficial bladder cancer. Today, OncoTICE is one of the most widely studied and used BCG strains for the treatment of superficial bladder cancer.
